Chelva has a cuisine common to inland areas and all the Comarca de la Serrania, strong and powerful. Dishes such as the "thick pucherico", gachas, migas, serrano gazpacho and dishes derived from the slaughter of the pig, together with the homemade sausages, complete the typical gastronomy of the town. Also highlights the artisan pastry, with brandy, "fashionable" rolls, "ladybugs" rolls, and almond cakes
